In 2003 we founded Thai Fly Rodders club with the help of hardcore Thai fishermen. Now 2008 the club is still alive and expanding but Thai speaking only. Fly fishing in Thailand is at its beginning. There are a lot of flies, baitfish, prawns, batrachians, rats to be matched and a lot of different fishes to be targeted. Most of Thais think that long fishing rods are disgraceful and fly fishing complicated. But some very good fishermen who don’t have anything to prove in other techniques are drawn to fly fishing and fly tying. All are willing to learn, to exchange information and buy material trough the net.
